Changing Delivery Locations

SCHWING Stetter handles diverse delivery points and buyers, requiring specific vehicles for each delivery. Negotiating freight rates is crucial for timely and cost-effective vehicle selection, especially for special projects with ODC consignments.

Delayed Vehicle Placement

Contacting, following up, and negotiating with 40+ transporters through email and phone calls for 7 manufacturing sites, and subsequently obtaining management approval consistently resulted in delays in sourcing suitable vehicles.

Inadequate Unloading Planning

Ensuring on-time delivery of goods to customers was critical. However, due to reliance on transporters and manual tracking for details of vehicles daily across multiple locations was inefficient, and adequate unloading planning became a challenge.

Manual POD Verification

Handling physical POD copies from transporters and manually verifying them with a team often caused confusion and inefficiencies. Frequent circulation of physical copies between places increased error risks, loss, and verification delays.

Inefficient Payment Reconciliation

Manual processes caused errors and delays in reconciling payment due dates, associating cost centers, and submitting bills. This approach required excessive manpower, hindering efficiency and wasting valuable resources.
